Kepha Arcemont is a New Orleans-born guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter whose musical journey began at age 13 — ignited by a concert featuring Dr. John and the Night Trippers. Immersed in his mother's record collection of Led Zeppelin, Free, Cream, The Allman Brothers Band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, he picked up guitar at 15 and never looked back.
The Kepha Arcemont Experiment emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic — a testament to perseverance. When timing issues forced a rethink, Kepha reached out to Kenny Aronoff, one of rock's most legendary drummers. A year later, Aronoff said yes. Through a mutual friend, Philip Bynoe — Steve Vai's longtime bassist — joined the fold. The result is what many call one of rock's premier rhythm sections backing Kepha's raw, Southern-drenched compositions.
Recorded at the legendary Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana — the same room that captured Kansas, Stevie Wonder, and Willie Nelson — the albums carry the weight of authentic Southern rock. "Southern Boy" earned a Lexus sync placement. The project is distributed across all major platforms via DistroKid and continues to grow.
